In order to communicate pupils in a purposeful and constructive way, it is necessary to cultivate the culture of dialogue, both in the family and in the educational context. For this reason, a critical thinking should be developed, which can be achieved by placing students in situations that look at problems from different aspects and solve them in different ways. This is precisely what allows transformative dialogue, one of the expressive transformational education that seeks to build a peaceful and just world, in which everyone has equal opportunities for development and promotion. The author in this paper first theoretically clarifies the problem, determines the terms transformative education and transformative dialogue more closely, and then states the possibilities of its application in teaching. Especially suitable is the teaching of the Serbian language, and within it the processing of literary texts. He showed how fairy tale H. K. Andersen Carevo's new suit can be processed in the third grade of the elementary school using a transformative dialogue and, in this way, contribute to the education for the rights of the child.
